LL037 Kali 4 x 2.5 x 2.5. Kali with her hair aflame sits on her throne, holding in her four hands a trident, sword, drum and skull bowl. Beneath her feet in a sacrificing devotee. Kali is not a common figure for vigrahas that remain for collections today. She has fangs at the corners of her mouth. Two snakes are poised like armrests under her lower hands. At one time, there was a prabhavalli which has been lost. Late 18th-early 19th c. Price is $500.
