Meenakshi, a manifestation of Parvati, was a Hindu goddess who grew up with a father that allowed her to learns skills of warriorship and leadership. She persuaded her father to let her rule after his demise. The parrot she carries is a symbol of Love and she wears a dagger at her waist which is a symbol of her strength as a warrior. Meenakshi is mainly worshipped in the Southern parts of India.
