Chandrashekhara is one of the forms of Lord Shiva, in which he is referred to the one wearing moon on his head front. Shiva Chandrashekhara is worshipped primarily in southern India, where he is often displayed with his consort, Parvati.
In this depiction of Shiva and consort, he hold the ax and horse in his upper hands, while the lower ones hold Parvati on his knee and the other offers blessings to his worshippers.
