LL053 Jain Shrine 11 x 7.25 x 3.5. 24 Tirthankara Shrine. A very elaborate Shrine with Dragons, Makaras, elephants, musicians and adorants. The unusual aspect of this Jain shrine is the glass eyes of the central Jina. This is often found on Vaishnava icons of Vishnu or his incarnations and Radha. The metal is particularly golden so it may be expected that this metal is formulated with gold. There is a missing leg on the figure on the left bottom. There is significant ritual water corrosion on the base and evidence of a cleaning powder. Undated. Price is $3,000.

Imtiyaz says that the green corrosion will spread slowly and that it would take decades
