The unusual aspect of this Jain shrine is the glass eyes of the central Jina. This is often found on Vaishnava icons of Vishnu or his incarnations and Radha. The metal is particularly golden so it may be expected that this metal is formulated with gold. There is a missing leg on the figure on the left bottom. There is significant ritual water corrosion on the base and evidence of a cleaning powder. Undated. Price is $3,000.

“In the blessed year Vikrama Saṁvat 1733 (AD 1676), this sacred image was caused to be installed. It is the devotional gift offered in worship of the Blessed Jina and the holy footprints, by Śrī ___bhāī, the merchant.”
