Lingam, bronze

this is a circular bronze lingam about 2 1/2 inches wide  less than 2 inches tall

Here is a delightful traveling Shiva Lingam which is old and heavy. Age estimated to be early 1800s according to wear on every surface of the artifact which is solid brass. At the bottom there is a square of a different metal protecting what could be a reliquary for a hidden sacred treasure.
Dimensions: 1.75″ H x 2.25″ W x 2.5″ D

Imtiyaz says that it is unique in that it has a circle moon or sun on the surface, He has never seen this before.

It comes from Nasik in Maharashtra  not sure of the sage
